Job summary

ConnectedHealth seeks a Nurse Practitioner for a 13-week temp-to-perm assignment in a rural clinic near Eureka, CA. You will provide comprehensive primary and urgent care, perform exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans while collaborating with a small, community-focused team.

Requirements include an NP license in California (or eligibility), board certification (FNP/AGNP), DEA license (or willingness to obtain), and BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Active California NP license (or eligibility for reciprocity).
• Board certification as an NP (FNP, AGNP, or other relevant specialty).
• DEA license (or willingness to obtain).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong communication and clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a clinical or urgent care setting.
• Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and families on preventive care and disease management.
