Reporting to the Director of Policy, the analyst conducts research, translates findings into accessible insights, and supports evidence-based decision making.

Based in Roseburg preferred, the role offers a salary range of $100,000–$106,000 with benefits, a chance to work with partners and communities, and travel within Oregon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public policy, public administration, or a related field with 3–5 years of experience.
• Master’s degree in a related field with up to 3 years of experience.
• Experience connecting policy research with action and evidence-based solutions.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively.
• Familiarity with rural issues and place-based philanthropy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct policy research and analysis on rural children, families, and communities.
• Monitor policy developments at local, state, and national levels.
• Identify best practices and assess applicability to rural communities.
• Develop research products to inform policy priorities and learning.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to share insights and support learning.
