Pharmacy1st Health in Colorado is building rural care delivery by transforming independent pharmacies into integrated care hubs. We are seeking a PRN Pharmacist to lead with clinical excellence and serve underserved communities across our rural clinics.

This role offers a six-week term with possibilities to cover additional shifts (early October to late November). You will practice at the top of your license, collaborate with physicians and nurse practitioners, and contribute to quality

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the state's Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 1 year of community or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of pharmacy regulations and insurance billing.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care and team development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Manage their day-to-day pharmacy operations, including inventory, and workflow.
• Provide exceptional patient care through accurate dispensing, counselling, and medication management.
• Implement quality assurance, safety, and performance improvement programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, family nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Support business growth through effective management of pharmacy services, including immunizations and clinical programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reporting.
• Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently, profitably, and in line with company goals.
