Job summary

Down Home North Carolina seeks field canvassers for our 2026 campaigns. You will engage voters door-to-door, sharing information about voting and candidates aligned with our mission, and help build a multiracial, working-class movement in rural NC.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Compensation is hourly with flexible afternoon/evening shifts and travel demands.

• Independent worker capable of multi-shift scheduling and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Have conversations with community members through door-to-door canvassing.
• Participate in 4 to 6 canvasses per week.
• Ensure data and information collection are consistent and accurate.
• Troubleshoot issues within the program.
• Work in a team-centered environment.
