Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Current, unrestricted North Dakota medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure before practice.
• Current unrestricted DEA registration.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification must be obtained if not already.
• Commitment to teaching residents and rural medical students.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient internal medicine care.
• Teach residents and rural medical students at WRHS training site.
• Coordinate care with the care team and maintain documentation and coding support.
• Provide backup coverage for Emergency Department physicians as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and professional conduct following policies.
