Job summary

BBNC seeks a Project Manager for Community Infrastructure & Development to advance infrastructure projects across Bristol Bay and Anchorage. The role focuses on engaging communities, coordinating resources, and leveraging networks to ensure collaborative execution of priority projects.

The incumbent will lead the Bristol Bay Connect Database, maintain relationships with regional partners, and travel frequently to remote Alaska communities to support energy, housing, transportation, and broadband

Qualifications

  • Expertise in rural project management across energy, housing, transportation, broadband infrastructure.
  • Significant familiarity with rural Alaska contexts and communities.
  • Ability to connect resources (people, funds, entities) to advance projects.
  • Experience coordinating third‑party contractors and consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management and resource mobilization for regional infrastructure priorities.
  • Oversee development and deployment of the Bristol Bay Connect Database.
  • Engage communities, tribes, village corporations, and regional partners to align priorities and funding.
  • Identify stakeholders, minimize obstacles, and enable timely project execution.
