Iowa Specialty Hospital is seeking a full-time pharmacist to support both Belmond and Clarion facilities, focusing on sterile compounding and hospital-based pharmaceutical services. This role is supported through CMS funding and may include a sign-on and relocation bonus with a multi-year commitment.

The pharmacist will verify orders, provide patient education, join multidisciplinary rounds, and supervise hospital technicians while collaborating with inpatient staff to ensure optimal patient

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited college of Pharmacy with BS or higher in Pharmacy.
• Current Iowa Pharmacy License
• Hospital experience preferred
• Will be required to work at all Iowa Specialty Hospital locations as needed

• Sterile compounding per USP 797/800; includes order verification and interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and update policies; supervise technicians.
• Billing and ordering of pharmaceuticals; Omnicell support.
• Provide pharmacy services to patients of all ages and collaborate with inpatient staff.
