Job summary

Oregon Primary Care Association (OPCA) seeks an experienced RHTG Sr. Project Manager to lead Rural Health Transformation projects, coordinating across OPCA, the Network, health centers, vendors and state partners. The role focuses on implementing a population health data platform and related IT systems.

This limited-duration, one-year position requires strong project leadership, knowledge of EHRs, and grants management, with a collaborative, nonprofit mission and a hybrid work schedule in Oregon.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of project management experience in health IT.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Experience with EHRs and health information systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the implementation of Rural Health Transformation Grant (RHTG) projects and related projects that span internal and external partnerships, ensuring deliverables are on time, within scope and budget.
• Serve as the primary contact for RHTG initiatives, coordinating multiple projects, workstreams, stakeholders, and deliverables to achieve overall program goals.
• Support the implementation, expansion, and ongoing optimization of OPCA's population health data platform and related data infrastructure.
• Ensure assigned projects are aligned with RHTG objectives, grant requirements, and organizational priorities.
• Assist in defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success measures, involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and workplans using appropriate project management methodologies.
• Monitor and summarize project progress and prepare regular status reports, dashboards, briefings, and other materials for leadership and grant stakeholders.
