Job summary

The James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a full-time dental faculty member for a new Rural General Practice Residency Program (GPR-P) in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina.

The position is administratively located in the Department of Biomedical and Community Health and will operate across three sites, including a main clinic in Florence and spoke clinics in Marion and Lake City.

Qualifications

• DMD, DDS, or equivalent degree and SC licensure eligibility.
• GPR/AEGD completion preferred.
• Submit letter of interest, CV, and two references.

Responsibilities

• Supervise/attend GPR-P residents.
• Assist Program Director with curriculum development and implementation.
• Evaluate program content and resident/faculty performance.
• Maintain resident education records and assist with resident recruitment.
• Ensure CODA compliance for the program.
