Job summary

Nevada Regional Medical Center is seeking a General Surgeon to join our rural, community-focused hospital and provide a broad range of surgical services to a population of about 20,000.

The role includes inpatient and outpatient surgical care, endoscopy (colonoscopy and upper endoscopy), and opportunities to grow an established patient panel with a collaborative team of nurses and surgical staff.

Qualifications

• MD/DO eligible for Missouri medical licensure.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Completion of an accredited general surgery residency program.
• Current general surgical skills and procedural competency.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Broad-based general surgery practice.
• Inpatient and outpatient surgical care.
• Evaluation and treatment of common general surgery conditions.
• Routine and complex general surgical procedures.
• Endoscopy services, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.
• Opportunity to build and grow an established patient panel.
• Collaborative care environment with experienced nursing and surgical staff.
