Job summary

DocStar Medical Partners is seeking a General Dentist (DDS/DMD) for a 3–6 month assignment at a Northern Michigan facility. Work Monday–Friday, 8–5 with a 5x8 schedule preferred. See 8–10 patients daily; procedures include most general dentistry with complex cases, some morning emergencies.

Rural community experience preferred; MI license, DEA and BLS certifications required. EMR used is NextGen; Front desk and 3-4 dental assistants support the team, with additional hygienists.

Qualifications

• D.D.S./D.M.D. license required.
• Michigan license required.
• DEA and BLS certifications required.
• Experience in rural community settings.
• EMR NextGen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general dentistry in a rural community setting with 8–10 patients per day.
• Work Monday–Friday, 8–5; 5x8 schedule preferred.
• Handle mostly general dentistry with complex procedures; no cosmetics or implants.
• Potential morning walk-in emergencies; patient mix includes adults and pediatrics (about 20%).
