Job summary

Island Health in Anacortes, Washington is seeking a full-time General Cardiologist to help establish a new cardiology practice. The role emphasizes outpatient care with opportunities for growth and leadership within a collaborative team.

The position includes interpreting echocardiograms, stress testing, rhythm monitoring, device management, and close coordination with APPs and colleagues to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care in a rural community.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interpret Echocardiograms.
• Board-certified or Board-eligible in Echocardiography is required.
• Active Washington State Medical License or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supervision and interpretation of ECHOs, stress testing, and rhythm monitors.
• Supervision of cardiac devices and ambulatory APP.
• Clinic appointments and follow-up cardiology visits.
• Inpatient call coverage on a 1:4 rotation.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty group and support staff.
