Job summary

Provider Solutions & Development is seeking a full-time General Cardiologist to join Island Health in Anacortes, Washington. You will work mainly in an outpatient setting with opportunities for collaboration within a multi-specialty group.

The position offers a lucrative salary ranging from $553,414 to $676,394 per year, along with a $30,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Echocardiography and must have an active Washington State Medical License.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Washington State Medical License or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to interpret Echocardiograms is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and interpret ECHO’s, stress testing, and heart rhythm monitors.

• Provide general cardiology hospital call coverage.

Position Overview

Island Health is seeking a full-time board‑eligible/board‑certified General Cardiologist to join their expanding practice at Island Health in Anacortes, Washington.

Responsibilities

Duties may include but are not limited to supervision and interpretation of ECHO’s, stress testing, and heart rhythm monitors along with supervision of devices, ambulatory APP, clinic appointments and follow‑up cardiology appointments.

Position Details

• Full‑time, 1.0 FTE with 4 day work week
• Monday to Friday primarily outpatient care schedule with limited inpatient consultation
• Cardiac diagnostics includes stress testing, rhythm management, nuclear diagnostics, device management
• General Cardiology hospital call coverage required (1:4)
• Collaborative, collegial group with growth opportunities
• Work closely with cohesive, multi‑specialty group providers with support staff
• Integrated Meditech Expanse EMR platform, utilized throughout the organization

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation is between $553,414 and $676,394 per year
• Competitive base salary guarantee and productivity incentives the first year of employment combined with comprehensive CME & Professional Society allowance; malpractice coverage, Washington State Medical License, DEA and Medical Staff dues are paid by practice
• Sign on bonus of $30,000
