Job summary

Scotland County Hospital invites a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner to join our rural health clinic as a PRN provider. You will diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses, performing comprehensive exams and creating patient-centered treatment plans.

You will deliver preventative care and wellness counseling, educate patients, and maintain precise medical records using the electronic health records system in a collaborative environment with a supervising physician.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP).
• Active unrestricted Missouri Nurse Practitioner license.
• Current board certification (FNP-BC or similar).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Rural health experience preferred, new graduates considered with strong clinical rotations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses in a rural clinic.
• Perform physical exams and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide patient education, preventative care, and wellness counseling.
• Maintain accurate medical records using the electronic health records system.
