Qualifications

• MSN degree required for NP practice.
• Formal family NP program or equivalent coursework to care for all ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care through diagnosis, clinical judgment, and management to restore and improve health status.
• Assess patient and family developmental status and health behaviors.
• Prescribe treatment within Nurse Practice Act guidelines.
• Counsel and advocate for patients and families.
• Coordinate with Health Center staff and community agencies for holistic care.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and ensure secure transfers.
• Learn and use the EHR system per policies.
• Participate in CQI and adherence to MU/PCMH criteria.
• Support HIPAA, OSHA, and corporate compliance policies.
• Participate in after-hours on-call coverage as needed.
