Job summary

Redwoods Rural Health Center (RRHC) is seeking a Staff Dentist to provide comprehensive dental services and preventive care in a community health setting. You will work under the Dental Director and with the Executive Director to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires a DDS or DDM from a U.S. accredited school, California license, and a background in public health or community health dentistry. On-site duties in Redway, CA offer stable hours and meaningful community impact.

Qualifications

• DDS and/or DDM from a U.S. accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited dental general practice residency program preferred.
• Knowledge of public health principles and practices, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose and treat dental/oral conditions; prescribe and carry out appropriate treatment or refer for specialty care.
• Perform fillings, extractions, adult prophy, scaling and root planing for all patient ages.
• Perform and oversee denture procedures, recall exams, child prophy, night guards and bite adjustments.
• Accurately record patient-dentist transactions in patient dental records and code services for compliance.
• Ensure delivery of programs and services as required by HRSA grants and policies.
