Job summary

Carriers must work in all weather conditions and follow USPS safety and delivery procedures. This position typically pays $19 to $22 per hour to start for City Carrier Assistants, with career Mail Carriers earning approximately $22 to $36 per hour depending on tenure, plus opportunities for overtime pay, Sunday premium pay, holiday pay, and night differential pay.Mail Carriers are responsible for casing and sorting mail in the post office, loading delivery vehicles, delivering mail and packages, obtaining signatures for certified or registered mail, collecting outgoing mail, and completing delivery routes on schedule.
