Job summary

Soap Creek Resources in La Grande, Oregon seeks a Cardiologist for a permanent, full-time role in a rural Critical Access Hospital. You will provide outpatient and consultative inpatient care with access to state-of-the-art diagnostics, contributing to community health and physician autonomy.

Relocation assistance is provided, with comprehensive benefits and a total compensation of $600K–$670K+ per year, plus incentives and a strong focus on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• MD from an accredited school.
• Completion of an accredited Cardiology Fellowship.
• Active, unrestricted State Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Strong commitment to high-quality, community-oriented care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient and consultative inpatient cardiovascular care.
• Perform and interpret non-invasive studies including echocardiograms, stress tests, and EKG/Holter monitoring.
• Manage long-term cardiac conditions for the local population.
• Supervision of stress testing in the co-located Respiratory Therapy department.
• Interpretation of cardiac imaging, ECGs, and device interrogation reports.
• Management of implantable cardiac devices.
• Perform minor procedures including implantation/removal of loop recorders, cardioversion, and TEE.
• Partner with primary care providers and the hospitalist team to ensure seamless transitions of care.
• Help shape the future of cardiac services within a growing rural healthcare system.
