Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a part-time seasonal runner to deliver food from the kitchen to guests during evenings and weekends. Read kitchen tickets, coordinate with servers, and help ensure timely, accurate service.

You will assist with maintaining clean service areas, guide guests on dining options, and support the kitchen and dining staff during peak periods. The role requires standing for long periods, a friendly demeanor, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage as a busser or food runner for at least two years.
• Able to carry three entrée plates at once for long distances.
• Able to read kitchen tickets and understand seat and table numbers and course breakdowns.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen to guests in a timely and organized manner.
• Lead communication between servers and culinary team.
• Read kitchen tickets to ensure quality and accuracy of orders.
• Monitor guest dining experience and check guests have everything they need.
• Respond to guest requests and relay to servers.

This position will be posted until 09/12/26 or until filled. $19.37 this is a part-time seasonal event-based role in the evenings and weekends, eligible for 401K and Colorado Sick leave.Responsibilities:The primary responsibility of a Runner is to deliver food from the kitchen to guests as quickly and efficiently as possible to ensure great guest experiences.• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen to guests in a timely and organized manner utilizing key information on kitchen tickets including table and seat numbers• Lead communication between the servers and culinary team• Read kitchen tickets to ensure quality and accuracy of all orders• Monitor and observe guests dining experience - Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service – check with customers to make sure they have everything they need each time you arrive at a table• Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to server immediately.• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas• Assist bussers as needed with clearing tables, especially with large parties and during peak periods.• Provide guidance to guests including dining options and general attraction information.• Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisorYou may be asked to bring hot boxes or loaded carts up to 50 pounds to the portable on your floor.You will be refilling cases of beverages in the coolers for the 2nd floor and self-serve coolers or other productQualifications:• Experience working in the food and beverage industry as a busser or food runner for at least two years• Must have the ability to skillfully carry three entrée plates at the same time for long distances up to 150 ft.• Ability to retain and recite menu details• Have an understanding of the expo process in a fine dining restaurant• Must be able to read kitchen tickets and understand seat number, table numbers and course breakdowns• Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts including: mornings, nights, weekends and holidays• Must have excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, table settings, service standards, guest relations and etiquette• Must have a high school diploma• Must be able to succeed in a face paced environment• Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance standards• Ability to work independently or in a team setting during set up and execution of service• Willingness and drive to exceed the guest expectations• Ability to effectively listen and take direction from supervisor• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a smile• Ability to transport up to 50lbs on a continuous basis in food and beverage, push and pull carts, hotboxes, or racks.• Ability to be standing and walking for long periods of time, kneel, crouch,• Ability to read, speak and write English Language in order to communicate with guests.• Must have a working email to communicate with your managers.• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.This is a part time sesonal roles based on scheduled events.Legends is an Equal Opportunity employer.
