Job summary

Another Broken Egg Café is hiring a food runner for daytime shifts at our restaurant. Compensation ranges from $32,000 to $40,000 annually, with training and advancement opportunities highlighted.

Applicants should be prepared to deliver superb service and work closely with servers and staff to ensure guests enjoy an outstanding dining experience. We emphasize a neat appearance, English-speaking capability, and the ability to move quickly and safely throughout a scheduled six-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in a company-approved uniform.
• Walk or stand most of the 6-hour shift.
• Must be able to read menu items and speak English.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and perform cleaning duties.
• Must be able to calmly respond to agitated guests and notify a Manager immediately if the matter cannot be corrected in a timely manner.
• Must be able to clearly communicate guest needs to other employees including bussers, servers, and Manager.

• Promptly run food in a friendly, professional manner.
• Ensure guest expectations have been met and naturally exceeded.
• Uphold and maintain superior quality customer service and hospitality.

• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working atmosphere.
• Work as a team to ensure all facets of the restaurant are kept clean, safe and organized.

Summary of Food Runner Responsibilities:

• Interact with guests and staff to ensure exemplary service in an efficient manner. Work closely with Server Assistants and Servers to ensure guests receive superb service.
