Job summary

Talent With Heart seeks a mechanical engineer to own the full lifecycle of physical hardware, from concept through manufacture, focusing on enclosures and drone integration. You will design rugged cases and bridge boxes while iterating rapidly with in-house 3D printing and field testing.

The role requires designing drone attachments, actuated mechanisms, and packaging solutions for transport in demanding environments, with hands-on testing across field deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience designing rugged enclosures and hardware for drone systems.
• Prototyping and rapid iteration with in-house 3D printing.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee manufacture of ruggedized enclosures (Dongle Cases, Bridge Boxes).
• Specify, source, and customize swarm packaging solutions (Pelican cases, foam inserts).
• Design, test, and manufacture drone attachments and mechanisms; collaborate on field validation.
