Job summary

Natco Home Group in West Warwick, RI is seeking a Designer for the Floor Coverings team. You will assist in designing printed and woven rugs, seasonal doormats, and accent rugs, collaborating with sales and product development to manage design development with our global supplier network.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of industry experience, a Textile Design degree, strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines while staying on trend.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design or related discipline.
1–3 years of industry experience.
Background in rugs and retailers preferred.
Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator.
Knowledge of AI tools in Textile Design.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Able to work on PC and Mac.
Ned Graphics/Texcelle experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Create, manipulate, and color artwork for printed, woven, and seasonal rug applications.
Work with purchased/licensed artwork and Natco Design Library.
Create customer presentations and revise designs per requests.
Generate design ideas from trends and customer inputs.
Assist Design Director with color and trend presentations.
Stay informed on home interior trends across markets.
Create production files and factory spec sheets.
Travel to stores and design shows to research trends.
