Job Summary

About Team & About Role:
We are seeking to hire an experienced full stack software developer to participate in rapid application prototype development as part of the innovative IT enterprise architecture team followed by full life cycle development of custom products that may be consumed by Rubrik internal and external users.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development framework(s) and third-party libraries to produce scalable software solutions. You are a team player with a knack for effective UI and user experience designs. You will manage the full life cycle of custom development projects from conception to the final product, requiring good organizational skills and attention to detail. To be successful in this role, you will need strong knowledge of programming languages, software development life cycle, and Agile methodologies.

This is a full-time position located at Rubrik, Bengaluru, India.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work closely with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
2. Responsible for the creation of tests to identify issues before the project go-lives adhering to the respective sprint schedules.
3. The QA member should be ready to work both on Manual and Automation Testing.
4. Design, develop and execute automation scripts using testing tools.
5. Identify, record, document, and track bugs using respective tools.
6. Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defects.
7. Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, and deliverables, set and manage expectations.
8. Requirement Analysis, Test Effort estimation, Test Design, Test Execution, Defect Management, and Test reporting.
9. Provide a practical approach to complex testing, specifically in the areas of the automation of test cases for the purposes of regression testing.
10. Familiar with source code, version management, and code deployment standards. Ensure that QA processes and procedures for test environments are followed and that the integrity of the various environments is not compromised.
11. Ensure adherence to standardized QA policies, processes, and documentation standards.
12. Enthusiastic and proactive to learn new technologies.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 0.6-1+ years of experience in IT Applications QA.
2. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
3. Minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience with Familiarity with Salesforce tools and Quote to Cash processes.
4. Good understanding of Salesforce CRM, Salesforce CPQ, web services, Service Oriented Architecture.
5. Knowledge of SOQL SQL Exposure to testing integrations.
6. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in an Agile environment is a must.
7. Experience in QA with SaaS platforms including Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Workday, Coupa, and middleware such as Jitterbit, Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.
8. Great attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate, and document defects.
9. Ability to adapt to short sprint cycles (2 weeks).
10. Help define test cases. Test case reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed.
11. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and understanding of test automation framework design models and best practices is a big plus.
12. Working remotely, while collaborating with global teams for delivery across geographies. We may need you to be flexible with your work hours.
13. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
14. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
