Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Materials Engineer – Product Development to support development and commercialization of advanced materials, including thermoplastics, thermosets, composites, coatings, and metallic alloys.

You will oversee projects from concept to production, gaining hands-on experience in polymer processing, plastic part design, and failure analysis. The role requires 3+ years in rubber materials and molding, strong analytical skills, and collaboration across Engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Materials, Polymer, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with rubber materials and molding.
• Knowledge of thermoplastic and thermoset materials, testing, and failure analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate new products, materials, and components.
• Support product design from concept through commercialization and production.
• Develop polymer formulations and evaluate material performance.
• Coordinate prototyping, testing, validation, and pilot production.
• Conduct and interpret thermal, mechanical, and chemical testing.
• Troubleshoot design, material, tolerance, and manufacturing issues.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional design reviews.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide product training.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, Marketing, and suppliers.
