Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, polymer science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in rubber technology, plastics or tires desirable.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt/Green Belt certification a plus; understanding of statistics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop formulas to improve performance and reduce cost.
  • Link lab compound performance to finished tire with no productivity loss.
  • Lead projects through planning, testing, qualification and reporting.
  • Provide technical support and manage material specs, procedures, and supplier list.
