The role involves developing novel power analysis techniques and profiling workloads to maximize battery life and energy efficiency, collaborating with SoC teams and performing RTL-level data mining for high-level power estimation.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of industry or research experience in hardware or related fields.
• Experience with low-power fundamentals and power estimation.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive CPU architecture and system-level energy modeling.
• Develop power analysis techniques and optimization tooling.
• Collaborate with SoC and CPU Power Team on power analysis and workload profiling.
• Perform data mining at RTL and gate-level to define micro-architectural transactions for high-level power estimation.
