Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher by working with individual students or small groups.
• Attend in person to support classroom activities.
• Record scores and maintain achievement data for students as the teacher directs.
• Reinforce learning material and skills introduced by the teacher.
• Supervise non-instructional activities such as lunch and rest time.
• Assist with class preparation and record keeping.
• Serve as a resource for substitute teachers and alert the regular teacher to issues.
