Job summary

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a certified and qualified NDT/NDE Technician to perform non-destructive testing and inspection services at client sites. The technician will use RT, MT, PT, UT, and VT methods, ensuring accurate data and safety.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and capability to obtain TEAM Level II qualifications. You will support field operations and communicate findings to clients and supervisors.

  • Supervise and guide NDT Assistants and support personnel during field operations.
  • Calibrate and operate NDT equipment and related tools safely and effectively.
  • Coordinate with project managers and clients regarding job scope, access, and inspection results.
  • Maintain detailed and timely records, including reports, timesheets, and safety documentation.
  • Follow proper radiation safety practices, where applicable, including the use of dosimetry and area barricading.
  • Adhere to TEAM's Life Critical Expectations and all site-specific safety protocols.
  • Uphold applicable industry codes and TEAM's standards of professionalism, integrity, and quality.

Position Summary:-

TEAM, Inc. is seeking a certified and qualified, safety-driven NDT/NDE Technician to perform Non-Destructive Testing and Inspection services at various client sites and locations. The technician will perform inspections using one or more NDT methods, including Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Visual Testing (VT).

The role is responsible for maintaining high standards of data accuracy, client satisfaction, safety performance, and quality while following TEAM procedures, client specifications, applicable industry codes, and site-specific safety requirements.

Qualifications:-
Required Qualifications:-
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Ability to provide relevant documentation supporting the acquisition of one or multiple TEAM Level II qualifications or certifications in accordance with TEAM's written practice and certification schema.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate results to peers, clients, and supervisors.
  • Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:-
  • Multiple NDT Level II certifications or ASNT/PCN/CGSB equivalencies.
  • API 510, API 570, API 653, CWI, AMPP, or other advanced certifications.
  • Radiation Safety Training, IRRSP, or a State Industrial Radiographer Card, where applicable to RT.
  • Familiarity with digital reporting systems or NDT data software.
  • Previous experience working in refineries, petrochemical plants, pipeline projects, or fabrication shops.
  • Current TWIC, OSHA 10/30, or other industry-standard safety certifications.
Requirements:-
  • The technician must be able to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
  • The technician must be able to obtain TWIC, DISA, and/or other required site access credentials.
  • The technician must be willing and able to travel, work extended hours, and operate in field environments, including confined spaces, elevated work areas, and extreme weather.
  • The technician must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • The technician must have sufficient personal mobility to work in standard, refinery, or plant environments and access elevated platforms through ladders and stairwells, except when performing non-field duties.
  • The technician must have sufficient speech, hearing, vision, observation capabilities, and manual dexterity to perform assigned duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • The technician must be able to maintain focus and multitask while communicating effectively.
  • The technician must be willing and able to work extended shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules as required.
  • The technician must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions.
Work Conditions:-
  • The position is based out of a TEAM field office or client site location.
  • Field duties involve indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere.
  • The technician will interact with crew employees, supervisors, and client personnel.
  • Work may be performed in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
  • The technician must be able to wear required safety equipment for assigned tasks and as required by the safety department.
  • The technician may work at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes.
  • Periodic out-of-town travel may be required.
  • The position may require extended shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.
  • The technician may work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions.
