Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current, valid license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• ACLS certification from an approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.

• Perform support activities such as equipment maintenance, inventory management, and setup and operation of respiratory care equipment used in diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease.

Education

Current, valid license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist in the state of employment

Current BLS certification

ACLS certification within six months of hire

Vibra Hospital of SE Michigan – DMC Campus, located in Detroit, MI, is a 28‑bed critical‑care hospital. It provides acute care for patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, including trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. The small, specialized environment supports a fast‑paced, friendly workplace where clinicians truly connect with patients and families.

Required Skills

• Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program.

• ACLS certification from an approved vendor required within six (6) months of hire.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Preferred: One (1) year of critical‑care and/or artificial airway and ventilator care experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from the illegal use of, and effects of, drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
