Job summary

Willis Knighton Health in Shreveport, LA, is seeking Respiratory Therapists for full-time day shifts (7P–7A) to support ED, ICU, NICU and other units. RRT credential and Louisiana licensure are required. We welcome experienced and new graduates alike.

There are opportunities in NICU transport, CCU, and ECMO team training, with training and advancement paths in a collaborative Allied Health environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Experience in CCU and NICU settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy across ED, ICU, PACU and NICU.
• Support patients on vents, oxygen therapy and airway care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in high-acuity units.

Future opportunities in our department may include Bronchoscopy Lab, Pulmonary Function Lab, Hyperbaric and Wound Care Clinic and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. RRTs with at least 6 months of CCU experience will be given consideration for training and participation on our ECMO Team.
