Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA, seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform invasive diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional radiology procedures. You will educate patients and families, operate equipment safely, and ensure accurate documentation.

The role requires ARRT or RCIS registration, BLS certification, and strong communication skills. You will maintain equipment and supplies while contributing to a high-performance team focused on quality care.

If you have experience in invasive diagnostic, therapeutic, and /or interventional procedures; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations; participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities.

Must have successfully completed a Radiologic Technology Program; must be ARRT or RCIS registered and have BLS certification. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment, supplies, and patients.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.29 - $58.66 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
