Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking a qualified NDT RT Technician, full-time, in Savannah, GA. The RT Technician will perform radiographic inspections in accordance with customer specifications and industry standards, set up RT equipment, interpret results, and maintain documentation in industrial settings.

Applicants should have radiographic testing experience and a commitment to safety and quality. State card/IRRSP and additional NDT certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Level II RT certification preferred.
• Previous industrial radiography experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections in accordance with approved procedures and standards.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate RT equipment.
• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate indications.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Follow radiation safety and company safety procedures.
• Maintain inspection equipment and records.
• Work closely with supervisors, customers, and project teams.
• Support outage, maintenance, fabrication, and inspection projects.
• Support additional NDT methods as needed.
• Work overtime, weekends, nights, and varying shifts as project demands require.
