Job summary

MISTRAS Group in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a qualified NDT RT Technician for full-time work. The ideal candidate will have prior radiographic testing experience and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical excellence.

Responsibilities include setting up RT equipment, interpreting inspection results, and maintaining documentation in industrial environments. You will perform RT inspections per procedures and customer specifications, work with project teams, and support various NDT

Qualifications

• Current Level II RT certification preferred.
• Industrial radiography experience required.
• State card and/or IRRSP certification preferred where applicable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in team environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections in accordance with approved procedures and standards
• Set up, calibrate, and operate RT equipment
• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate indications
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, specifications, and quality requirements
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation
• Follow all radiation safety and company safety procedures
• Maintain inspection equipment and records
• Work closely with supervisors, customers, and project teams
• Support outage, maintenance, fabrication, and inspection projects
• Support additional NDT methods as needed
• Work overtime, weekends, nights, and varying shifts as project demands require
