Job summary

Acuren is seeking RT Level II w/DR Technicians for operations in Erie, PA, and surrounding areas. This is a callout/travel position requiring up to 90% travel, primarily in pipeline and fabrication shop environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods
• Establish examination techniques, ensuring safety regulations are followed
• Apply testing criteria according to standards and evaluate results
• Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visual indicators
• Organize and report test results
• Perform specialized inspections
• May instruct and supervise others
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
• NDT Level II Certification in RT
• Preference for candidates with CR/DR experience/certification
• IRRSP or applicable state card for radiation safety
• Additional NDT certifications are a plus
• Technical knowledge in NDT methods and equipment
