Acuren is currently recruiting for callout Level II RT Technicians to support our operation in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Level II Technicians should be familiar with the scope and limitations of the NDT methods used and are responsible for on-the-job training and guidance of assistants and Level I Technicians. Candidates must provide current or prior certifications and classroom documentation. Willingness to travel is required.

Start date: ASAP

Schedule: Callout work in Salt Lake City, Utah area

Per diem for travel/out-of-town work: $150-$170

Required: Level II RT certifications

Preferred: Additional Level II certifications such as UT, MT, PT

Types of Work: Fabrication shops, Pipeline, Call-out, Mechanical Integrity, Facilities

Relocation assistance available for qualified applicants.

Responsibilities
  1. Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
  2. Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects using NDT methods
  3. Establish examination techniques, adhering to safety regulations
  4. Apply testing standards and evaluate results
  5. Interpret radiographs, CRT or digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visual indicators
  6. Organize and report test results
  7. Perform specialized inspections
  8. Instruct and supervise others as needed
  9. Perform other tasks as assigned by management
Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
  • Certified Level II RT
  • Additional certifications (MT, PT, UT) preferred
  • Technical knowledge of NDT methods and equipment
  • Experience in report writing
  • Ability to interpret inspection results
