Job description

Position Summary

Acuren Inspection is currently seeking qualified RT Level II/Insulator Labor to support operations in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. This position follows a rotational schedule (3 weeks on / 3 weeks off).

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods (METHOD/S) of inspection.
  2. Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
  3. Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
  4. Identify, track, manage, and mitigate risk on specific client engagements. Escalate issues when necessary to ensure minimal impact on quality, budget, and timeline.
  5. Review asset documentation and operational data, including inspection data, monitoring, and auditing related NDE activities.
  6. Complete integrity assessments, including physical site walkdowns when required.
  7. Prepare project reports detailing work performed, conclusions, and recommendations.
  8. Perform specialized inspections.
  9. Develop techniques for approval by customer certifying agents.
  10. Instruct and supervise others as needed.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
  12. Maintain extensive knowledge of ASME and API requirements and procedures for evaluating equipment for continued serviceability.
  13. Follow industry health and safety policies and procedures.
  14. Interface with customers regarding schedules and problem-solving.
  15. Use applicable software and computer equipment effectively.
Minimum Requirements
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Some college preferred.
  3. Technical background in NDT (METHOD/S; UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) with five years of experience.
  4. Current NDT certifications in (METHOD/S; UT, UTPA, PAUT, CR, DR, etc.) required.
  5. Supervisory experience is a plus.
  6. Proven ability to perform NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.
  7. Knowledge of NDT equipment.
  8. MUST HAVE RT LEVEL II EXPERIENCE
  9. Experience using open vision systems like QSA C-arm or Go-scan C-view for CUI scans.
