Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college coursework preferred.
• Certified Level II in NDT or equivalent credentials desired.
• Technical background in NDT methods and procedures is required.
• Experience in report writing is preferred.
• 40 Hour Radiation Safety Training (40RAD) preferred.
• Industrial Radiographer card preferred but not required (State Carded).
• TWIC card is required or preferred.
• Must be adaptable and willing to travel; local candidates in Minden, LA area favored.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Establish examination techniques ensuring safety and standards compliance.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Interpret radiographs, CRT, digital readouts and conductivity meters.
• Organize and report test results.
• Perform specialized inspections.
• May instruct and supervise others.
• Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management.
