Job summary

EAC Network invites a full-time RSVP Program Coordinator to lead the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program across Nassau County. You will recruit, place, train, and support volunteers 55+, ensuring compliance with AmeriCorps rules and internal policies.

The role emphasizes outreach, data reporting, and collaboration with community partners, station supervisors, and management. Hybrid schedule and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience recruiting, training, supervising, and retaining volunteers preferred.
• Strong communication and organization skills; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, screen, onboard, orient, and place RSVP volunteers.
• Develop and implement recruitment, outreach, retention, and recognition activities.
• Coordinate volunteer assignments across multiple service locations.
• Maintain volunteer records, attendance logs, and training documentation.
• Coordinate orientation, ongoing training, and volunteer development opportunities.
• Provide ongoing support and problem resolution to volunteers and supervisors.
• Collect, verify, track, and report program performance data.
