Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking an RSP Special Education Teacher to provide specialized instruction for students with diverse learning needs across CA regions. This full-time role involves implementing IEPs, collaborating with district staff, and supporting classroom instruction with PBIS-based behavior management.

Substitute opportunities are also available for flexible scheduling. Qualified candidates will have CA certification or eligibility, a Bachelor’s degree, and DOJ/FBI Live Scan TB

Qualifications

• Must have state certification or eligibility (or substitute teaching permit) for CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Implement IEP goals through small group and individualized instruction.
• Support general education curriculum with accommodations and modifications.
• Assist with classroom behavior management using PBIS strategies.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support IEP compliance.
• Track and report student progress toward academic and behavioral goals.
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff.
• Support students with assistive technology and communication tools as needed.
