Job summary

Spindle is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a full-time, contract role near Yreka, CA. You will work in an RSP setting, delivering individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities include collaborating with staff, adapting curricula, monitoring progress, and participating in IEP meetings, with regular family communication to support student success.

Qualifications

• Valid Special Education teaching credential for California.
• Experience in an RSP or similar resource program preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction to students according to their IEP goals.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and school support staff.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies for diverse learning needs.
