Job summary

KYM Advisors. Inc is seeking an RSA Archer Consultant to execute and support the implementation of a DHS program cybersecurity framework. You will develop, administer, and optimize Archer-driven processes while serving as a security engineering SME across multi-technology solutions.

You will investigate security issues, propose remediation, and document events, working with government and commercial systems. Strong communication and clearance eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Computer Science or related field, or 5 years’ experience in lieu of a degree.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS EOD; U.S. citizenship required.
• Experience using RSA Archer in an enterprise security environment.
• 5+ years of security experience, including at least 2 years in security engineering.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust government security clearance.
• Knowledge of NIST, FISMA, and Cloud Environments.
• Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and execute processes using the RSA Archer tools platform.
• Serve as the security engineering subject matter expert responsible for planning, designing, and architecting a multi-technology cyber solution.
• Investigate root causes of security issues and troubleshoot to restore services.
• Develop and implement sound remediation recommendations.
• Provide guidance and support security activities while engaging key personnel.
• Document and inform management about security information and events.
• Remote management and troubleshooting of workstations and servers.
• Provide expert research and analysis to support program expansion.
• Assess information assurance and security requirements based on policies and demands.
• Apply know-how to government and commercial systems with required security features.
• Analyze security features for system architectures and coordinate tasks.
• Provide agency with knowledge on following NIST, FISMA, and Cloud guidelines.
