ARC GLOW is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist adults with developmental disabilities. Roles include daily living support, planning activities, and community outings.

Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities are available. Paid training is provided, and benefits include PTO, sick time, holidays, and retirement options. You will work in residential and community settings, with a focus on person-centered care.

Competenze

• High School Diploma, or equivalent required.
• Valid NYS driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Willingness to learn new skills (we provide paid training).

Mansioni

• Provides daily care to the people we support with developmental, intellectual and/or physical disabilities.
• Assists and encourages the people we support to care for immediate personal needs.
• Assists with planning daily activities and participates in activities in small groups.
• Documents all program data accurately and timely.
• Provide transportation as needed with agency vehicles.
• Use various software platforms for specific job functions.
• All full time DSP’s in the residential program will be required to obtain and maintain medication certification.
• Meal preparation.
• Working in a team environment.
• Has a drive to help others with their personal goals.

Direct Support Professionals (DSP/Care Providers) provide a variety of activities to adults with developmental disabilities. It could be within the home setting, attending our Day Programs, recreational activities in their home and in the community. Working with a team, DSPs assist program participants with daily living skills, personalized goals, arts and crafts, sensory activities, and accompany on outings in the community such as concerts, local parks, farm markets, lunch outings, and so much more!

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:

• All shifts are available. (Pay differential for sites staffed 24 hours).
