Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Clovis, NM seeks a compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders. This full-time role offers 12-hour night shifts and a pathway for professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory therapy required.
• Active NBRC RRT credential.
• NM Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• BLS, ACLS and/or PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with bronchoscopy procedures per departmental policy.
• Initiates ventilator protocols and coordinates ventilator management.
• Performs advanced airway care including tracheotomy changes and intubation.
• Initiates and monitors high-frequency ventilators.
• In NICU, perform surfactant delivery, intubation and attend high-risk deliveries.
• Optional procedures: transport team, intubation, and backup charge therapist.
• Initiates and monitors Nitric Oxide delivery.
• Undertakes department-specific duties as outlined in the department summary.
