Qualifications

• RRT certification required; BCLS, ACLS, and PALS are required; NRP and STABLE certifications may be required for NICU assignments.

Responsibilities

• Administers advanced respiratory treatments and monitors patient responses.
• Educates patients on treatment modalities to ensure cooperation.
• Performs ABG punctures and reports results promptly.
• Assists physicians with bedside procedures and pulmonary testing.
• Maintains respiratory care equipment and adheres to safety protocols.
• Documents treatments and patient responses clearly and thoroughly.
