Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Weekend Option Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our patient‑focused team. The role involves patient assessments, respiratory care procedures, and critical care support in adult care areas, with emphasis on blood gas analysis and equipment management.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy, is licensed as an RRT in Georgia, and has BCLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Licenses/certifications required: RRT; BCLS, ACLS; PALS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and respiratory care procedures.
• Support critical care procedures in adult care areas; blood gas analysis and equipment management.
• Educate patients and maintain equipment to ensure safe therapy.

Responsibilities

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
