Job summary

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ seeks a Full-Time Day Shift RRT Vascular Access Specialist to join the Respiratory Department. The role includes PICC/CVC insertions, vascular access management, and multidisciplinary collaboration in a level 1 trauma setting.

You will work in Emergency, NICU, PICU, and ICU, with weekend differentials and ongoing training to expand expertise across adult and pediatric cases. Excellent patient care and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree required.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide peripheral and central vascular access per protocol.
• Insert and maintain PICC lines with ultrasound guidance.
• Insert and maintain central lines with sterile technique and imaging review.
• Monitor patient status and adjust therapy as needed in collaboration with physicians.
• Train staff and ensure policy compliance and quality initiatives.
• Ensure department workflow and supply inventory efficiency.
