Job summary

MidState Medical Center in Hartford, CT is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to administer respiratory therapy, oxygen and aerosols, and operate life-support equipment. You will work three 12-hour day shifts in a 36-hour schedule, with every third weekend.

A credentialed pathway: associates degree required, bachelor's preferred; CT state license required; you will join a dedicated team committed to high-quality patient care and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred from an AMA approved Respiratory program.
• Ability to function as a self-directed team member.
• Must be Connecticut state licensed.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory therapy, oxygen and medications to improve breathing.
• Operates ventilators and resuscitation devices as needed.
• Performs pulmonary diagnostic procedures and related assessments.
