Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital in Detroit seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver cardiopulmonary care across the patient journey, performing assessments and therapy while coordinating with physicians, nurses and staff. This role emphasizes collaboration to optimize outcomes and patient safety.

Requirements include an RRT, an AMA/CoARC program, Michigan licensure and BCLS; ACLS is preferred. Night shift, full-time, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA/CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Registration (RRT) by the NBRC.
• BCLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred.
• Licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services throughout the continuum of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other team members to develop care plans.
• Perform patient assessments and determine therapy effectiveness.
• Instruct employees and students in respiratory care procedures.
• May function as in-charge therapist and preceptor.
