UF Health in Saint Augustine, Florida, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to administer respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. The role requires acting as a lead therapist and providing care to patients in critical situations.
Qualified candidates will have completed an AMA approved School of Respiratory Therapy, possess state licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, and hold current BLS certification. Experience in critical care and a preference for prior experience in a health care facility are advantageous.
Under general supervision, administers respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities. The Respiratory Therapist II acts as lead therapist when assigned and performs all other duties as requested by management in accordance with established Policies and Procedures within the job specification.
Age of Patients Served: All Age Groups.
Required Education: Completion of an AMA approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
Preferred Education: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Required Experience: Less than one (1) year in critical care for ventilator management.
Preferred Experience: Three (3) or more years previous Respiratory Therapist experience in a major health care facility.
