Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Respiratory Therapy.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Minimum of 3 years of current RT experience in a hospital environment.
• BLS from AHA required and ACLS required.
• NRP/PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care in critical care and other units.
• Educate patients and families; mentor new staff and students.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement care.
• Administer therapies, manage ventilators and assist invasive procedures.
• Maintain high patient safety standards and participate in quality improvement.
